Does anybody have some guidance, rule of thumb, best practice or alike on how to facilitate the selection of these. We have an extensive list of possible ones mixed in nature, size and complexity etc. - but miss some clear guidance on whats is and what is not strategic initiatives.
Hope somebody has some good experience/input to share.

How does one measure an individual's performance in an OSM-like group in this case? Further, performance measurement needs to be beyond inputs such as getting others to spend time in strategic activity, or number of events held, but in terms of outcomes..results achieved. At a strategic level, is it difficult to see/track these results in the near term if at all for an individual's annual performance report.

Does anyone have other examples or approaches to these more qualitative, but important functions? Perhaps project plan timelines, internal customer feedback on usefulness of strategic insights covers it, but I am looking for other new, or even better examples.

What are the requisite qualifications and experience for a Strategy Management Officer (SMO)". I am already working as an Executive-Strategic Planning at a healthcare industry. But, will I be eligible to be an SMO? Do I need more exposure on the day today Operational management to understand the ground reality?
I already have an experience of 2 years as an Operational executive. Can anyone enlighten me on this point?
